In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority for Providers, is the employer of record, and provides services that support a positive and productive relationship between recipient and provider.

Recipients

In-Home Supportive Services Program for Recipients helps the elderly and disabled to remain at home when they are not able to fully care for themselves by paying for a variety of services including domestic and personal care.

Commission

IHSS Public Authority Advisory Commission is a volunteer advisory board which meets to make IHSS program recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. Meetings are open to the public.

Understanding dementia behaviors is a challenge. This webinar series will provide an overview of possible causes of behavioral changes with the goal of helping caregivers learn how to respond effectively.
