Santa Cruz County is currently experiencing a shortage in registry providers.
We have a demand for providers that are:
If interested in being part of the registry, please call the Public Authority at (831) 454-4036 and request an IHSS Provider Registry Application.
Prospective registry providers must complete and submit the “IHSS Provider Registry Application” along with at least two professional references.
Upon receipt, a Public Authority Social Worker will:
If accepted onto the registry, providers will be referred to IHSS recipients whose specifics needs and preferences match those of the provider.
Note: The recipient is the employer – not the registry. IHSS recipients are responsible for interviewing, hiring and supervising the provider they chose.
