WHAT IS AGE WELL SANTA CRUZ COUNTY?

The Human Services Department is dedicated to the well-being of older residents and people with disabilities throughout Santa Cruz County.

The Age Well Santa Cruz County initiative will allow us to develop our county's blueprint for a local Master Plan on Aging. This plan will help us ensure people of all ages and abilities in our county are engaged, valued, and afforded equitable opportunities to thrive as they age, how and where they choose.

COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY COMPLETED

On January 8, 2024, the County Human Services Department launched its Age Well Santa Cruz County community needs assessment survey, to collect community feedback focused on aging in the county. By the SURVEY’S close on March 31, 2024, over 3,200 residents 40 and older across the county had responded. Preliminary results from the survey are now available!
