WHAT IS AGE WELL SANTA CRUZ COUNTY?

The Human Services Department is dedicated to the well-being of older residents and people with disabilities throughout Santa Cruz County.

The Age Well Santa Cruz County initiative will allow us to develop our county's blueprint for a local Master Plan on Aging. This plan will help us ensure people of all ages and abilities in our county are engaged, valued, and afforded equitable opportunities to thrive as they age, how and where they choose.

COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY COMPLETED

As part of Age Well Santa Cruz County and designing our Master Plan on Aging, the Human Services Department issued a county-wide Community Needs Assessment Survey to help us collect community feedback focused on aging in the county. Results from the survey are being tallied, and it is anticipated we will have survey result information available to share with the public in the summer of 2024.
