At the Adult and Long Term Care (ALTC) Division we assist older adults and people with disabilities to maximize self-sufficiency, safety and independence. We provide case work services and resource information that offer a choice of community services and care options.

• Adult Protective Services provides intervention services to protect elderly or dependent adults from abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
• In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) strives to support safe independent living for low-income frail elderly adults and disabled persons of all ages. The In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority provides a range of services to IHSS recipients and care providers to improve delivery of In-Home Supportive Services for low income seniors and disabled individuals of all ages.
